Disneyland

While in California we had an opportunity to visit Disneyland. We all had an amazing time and Daniel was so fun to watch!

The chaos of Main Street behind us! I couldn't wait to get started!

The first ride we went on was Peter Pan's Flight. Daniel had a really serious look on his face as we got closer to the actual ride.

There we are getting on his first ride!

This picture really captures the serious face that Daniel exhibited all during the rides. We were on It's a Small World and my mom took this picture. He was so funny to watch during the rides. This was probably one of his favorite rides (I know you can tell by the expression on his face) ! I would sign the It's a Small World song (and Yes, I know all the words) and the song really was very soothing. He would stop fussing and relax when he heard it.

Daniel really loves cars and in the Toontown section of the park they had a bunch of cars for the kids to play in. I think that might have been the best part of the day for Daniel.

We rode the carousel and he had a fun time talking to Nana while we were waiting for the ride to begin. Then everytime we passed Nana he would wave.

Daniel finally crashes! He went all day without napping and I thought he was never going to go to sleep. We decided that since he really liked cars we would go on the ride Autonation. This is the ride where you drive a car around a track. The line for the ride was absolutely horrible, the worst of the day. Daniel was really squirmy and tired at this point (it was about 8:30pm). Once we were finally on the ride and driving around Daniel started to slump over and I realized he was falling asleep. All he needed was a car ride!

I love all the pictures that you chose and I agree that they are some of the best ones and really tell the story of that day. What a day it was, I will never forget his face through it all as I have never forgotten you on your first visit. Thanks for letting me share that day with you.
Love ya always,
Mom

I absolutely LOVE the "serious" looks on his face. What fun! He is so sweet, you can tell he's exhausted!
