First Week at Home

We have survived the first week at home with three kids!  I must say, and I hope I don't jinx it, but Kyle has been the very best baby.  He is so mild mannered and we haven't had any real crying spells yet.  By this time I remember Daniel and Ryan both crying a lot in the evening and we had special tricks to try and calm each one of them down.  But as anyone with a kid knows, babies can change in an instant, so I might be singing a completely different tune very soon.

Arriving home

Daniel and Ryan so excited to have their baby brother home.

Ryan's first time holding Kyle.  He was so sweet and was shushing him the entire time he held him.

Notice the shushing lips on Ryan.

Seriously this can't be comfortable?!

1st bath

Ryan got out of bed to see what all the commotion was about.

Asleep in the swing.

Ryan and I went to Target and I noticed a large display of silly bandz on clearance.  Daniel got a couple of Star Wars silly bandz for his birthday and he really liked them.  So I was looking to see if they had any Star Wars ones (which they didn't), but Ryan insisted on getting some Scooby Doo ones.  He wants to be just like Daniel.

Kyle is so mild mannered he even fell asleep on his baby gym.

I got a new lens for my camera right before Kyle was born.  I really love it and 'Thank You' to everyone for contributing to the lens fund.  I love these photos of him!

Kyle's first photo

This picture was taken right after Kyle's first bath.

Our hospital room was the best for Daniel and Ryan.  The room was really large and only 1/2 of it had furniture in it.  The boys took turns wheeling the stool back and forth across the room.  They had so much fun and were very sad that I only stayed two days in the hospital.

1st family photo

The boys enjoying some Scooby Doo.

Daniel's TV watching face.

Scott playing with his iPhone

Ryan, Daniel and Nana brought Kyle some stuffed animals they picked out.  Ryan was so excited and couldn't wait to show Kyle.  I was feeding Kyle when he started stuffing the animals down the front of my nursing cover.

Ryan showing Kyle all the animals.

Night number 2: Tropical Smoothie picnic dinner and a movie on the computer.  One of the only things Daniel remembers about going to see Ryan in the hospital was going to eat Tropical Smoothie with Scott.  He was looking forward to doing the same thing when his baby brother showed up.

Getting in the car seat to go home.  He wasn't fond of getting into the car seat but calmed down as soon as we started moving.

Pregnancy Pics

After a LONG 9 months, we were more than ready for Kyle to show up.  We took some pictures 2 days before Kyle was born in order to remember just how big my belly was.

Daniel and Ryan were so excited about their baby brother.  They would often times come up to my belly and give it a hug or kiss.

The comment I got the last month and a half of my pregnancy was "You are NOT going to make it to your due date." And my other favorite "Are you sure their is only one in there?!"

Lucky #6

Every year we take a picture of Daniel with the Lucky shirt.  Last year I posted all the Lucky pictures from the first five years.  I can't believe how much he has grown!
