Getting Ready for #3

With baby number 3 fast approaching, we have been getting the house ready for the newest addition.  One of the biggest things we did is move Ryan into Daniel's room.  I looked for a long time for bunk beds that I liked.  I finally found a set that I love at The Room Store.  We are really happy with them so far and most importantly the boys love the beds.

First night in the new beds.
Ryan looks so tiny to me moving from a toddler bed to a full bed.

Daniel insisted that I take a photo of him with his favorite Star Wars book.
So then Ryan who does everything that Daniel does wanted his picture with his favorite book at the moment, a Diego one.  I was trying to get Ryan to show me the book and put it right below his chin.  This the pose he game me.
Pose #2

Magnet Ball

Scott and I decided that we would enroll Daniel in soccer this spring.  Last year he played T ball so this year we wanted to expose him to soccer.  He had his first game last weekend and really enjoyed himself.  Daniel is so literal that when the coach told him he was playing defense, he stayed back near the goal.  All the other kids ran all over the field following the ball like a magnet.

Walking to the first game.

Daniel with his signature "face".  He has a trouble with any sunshine and will scrunch up his little nose as he is intensely watching what is going on.
My little sensory child couldn't stop messing with his sleeves.  He kept fidgeting with them and eating the sleeves.   The he more excited he got, the worse the playing with the sleeves got.
Listening to the coach give the kids a little instruction during a water break.
Scrunch face.
Daniel spending a little time on the bench.  Ryan was quick to join him.
Daniel getting really into the game.  He was jumping out of his seat to cheer on his teammates.
Daniel wouldn't admit that he was a little tired after the game.  I think the picture says it all.

Great Wolf Lodge

In order to help Daniel's friend Jace celebrate turning 6 we spent a night at Great Wolf Lodge with the Hatley family.  We all shared a 2 bedroom suite.  Doing this allowed up to  play in the pool Friday night and all day Saturday.  The kids had a great time in the pool and hanging out in the hotel room.  Of course the kids went to bed really late and work up extremely early.
Getting ready to go the pool.
Daniel and his best bud Jace.

Ryan is obsessed with Nemo.  He is playing with his Nemo rocket and then Daniel started playing with it and lost it.  Thankfully Ryan was distracted by other things and didn't have a melt down about his missing Nemo rocket.
Jayden and Jackie.
Daniel having a great time going down the slides.

8 1/2 months pregnant.  I was not going to venture in the water, but I did have fun watching the boys.
Impossible to get all the kids looking at the camera.  What a motley crew!

After a long day of playing Daniel was exhausted.  Daniel laid down on the couch while Scott went to go and get dinner and I think he fell asleep in 30 seconds.  We couldn't get him up for dinner, he was out for the night.
