We miss you Schoonover Family!

We spent a great day at Busch Gardens today. The weather was perfect, and it was not that crowded. The theme at Busch Gardens is a European one. So when we walked in the park, we saw these phone booths and thought of Jenny, Kevin and Charlie.
This is a picture of me talking to you Jenny! I love you! Playing in the fountains at Busch. I think I have several hundred fountain pictures after Disney this summer. The boys love them!

One of my favorite pictures of Daniel and Scott. Daniel loves the ropes bridges and walkways. He has gotten really brave over the past year. We used to have to carry him across the ropes.

Waiting patiently in line.

Rollercoaster Summer

It was a busy, rollercoaster of a summer, we had some amazing times this summer (seeing the Jackson family, Disney, spending lots of time with Jenny and Charlie (sorry Kevin, you were busy "traveling") and getting to see Nora, Mia and Murphey) and then we had some sad times (with the passing of my grandmother, and saying goodbye to Jenny, Kevin and Charlie).

Mia came out to visit right before Jenny moved. It was great having Mia here, it did make things a little easier when Jenny left.

Charlie really does love Daniel, I swear!

Ryan chasing Nora and Daniel around the house.

While Mia was visiting we took the kids to Jumping Joeys (an inflatible jumping place, one of Daniel's favorite places to go).

Playing with the sidewalk chalk outside, Nora decided she needed a little "makeup".

During Mia's visit we went up to the Children's Museum in Richmond. We met up with a high school friend, it was great seeing her and her adorable girls.

Mia reading a very exciting book about germs! I got Daniel a Bill Nye science guy book about germs. Mia was reading high school biology class stuff and these kids were engrossed.

Daniel and Nora watching Super Why and acting out the parts of the show. They were too cute!

Disney Vacation

This summer we visited Disney, and had so much fun! What made the trip even more special was that we were able to share everything with my mom, Andrew, Jenny, Kevin and Charlie. We have so many pictures, I am going to try and narrow it down to my very favorites.

On our way down to Disney we ate lunch and played at a rest stop.
Ryan had fun falling (notice the dirty bottom).

One of the things Daniel insisted on doing was eating pizza. He remembered this pizza place from our last visit.

The Florida afternoon showers got us at the Animal Kingdom. It poured, so we ran for refuge at the Lion King show (one of the best shows at Disney!). We figured that after the show the rain would have passed, but of course it hadn't. We were soaked leaving the park. Daniel and I made the most of it by playing in the rain.

Charlie was so tired, he slept through the Winnie the Pooh ride!

Charlie was obsessed with the fountains. All the boys loved playing in them, but Charlie was in love!
