Maybe the real reason that Daniel was ready to leave gymnastics was because after we were going to a model train convention. He had the best time! It was really crowded with a combination of parents and their little kids and then those that were truly into model trains. Of course there was lots of Thomas stuff for sale and Daniel got a new train. He absolutely loved watching the model trains.

Gymnastics and Trains = A Great Weekend
This past weekend was just one of those great, laid back weekends. We started off Saturday taking Daniel to gymnastics. He loves the obstacle course and was running through it over and over again. He hates the stretching and doesn't follow directions very well. His other favorite thing to do is visit the foam pit and if you know me you know how much I hate foam. Thankfully I don't have to touch it. When it's time to go play in the pit the instructor asks the kids if they want to go and swim in the ocean because all the blocks are blue. After the first class Daniel just kept talking about how he went swimming in the ocean. We had to explain to people that he didn't actually go swimming at gymnastics class. The last rotation of the day was the bars station. Normally Daniel does pretty well, but I think I scared him getting him to do a pull over. He wanted nothing to do with them after and he informed me that he was ready to leave. Since we have been doing gymnastics for awhile now and he hasn't ever said this before, we ended up calling it quits a little early that day.
