Easter Weekend

We started our Easter Weekend with an Easter Egg hunt at the Warhill Sports Complex.  It was really well organized and the boys really enjoyed themselves, despite the looks on their  faces before getting started.  There were thousands of eggs spread out on the soccer fields.  Each age group had a different section of the fields and a different start time.  Ryan was in the youngest group (walking - 2 years).  The kids took about15 minutes to get all the eggs off the field.  However, I think the 6 year old age group cleared the field in less than a minute.

Ryan's method of collecting Easter Eggs was to run, pick up one egg, then run again.  He was all over the field!

Kyle stayed cozy in the Moby wrap

We had to wait an hour before Daniel got to go and get any eggs.  Ryan was a little bored.

Watching Daniel from the sidelines

The one picture Scott was able to get.  The egg hunt just happened so fast.

We gave Kyle his first bottle.  The boys were so excited to feed him!

Daniel was jumping up and down in anticipation and then after feeding Kyle for about  two minutes he told me that  it just wasn't that fun and he was all done.

While Daniel was feeding Kyle I asked Ryan to go get a diaper upstairs.  This is what he brought down to me.

Ryan also very excited to feed Kyle. He gave Kyle several kisses and told Kyle how cute he was in a high pitched voice.  Then after 30 seconds exclaimed that he all done!

Serious egg dying

Adding the stickers to the eggs.

Kyle was being a little fussy so Scott and Kyle were ostracized to the outside while we finished decorating the eggs.

Easter morning.  Believe it or not they were excited about finding their Easter baskets, they just weren't excited about having to take a photo before going to finding them.

Daniel's favorite gift.

It was near impossible getting a good picture of these two. This is just one of many photos taken.

Ryan has decided that he does not like having his picture taken.  Daniel didn't want to sit up, and Kyle was just being a 3 week old!

The Easter Bunny left a large chocolate lollipop for the boys to enjoy.  Daniel decided to eat his all at once, and then as he was almost finished (lollipop on the right side, Ryan's, on the left, was used as a comparison) he informed me that he does not  want the Easter Bunny to bring this next year because he didn't really like it. I told him he could throw away the little bit he had left, but no, he had to finish it.  Then when he was done he spent some down time on  the couch telling us that he did not feel very  well.

Easter Egg Hunt with our neighbors, Zoe and Sophia.

Daniel was shaking the egg, and if it had money in it, he put it in his basket, if it didn't then he threw it back on the ground.

Proud of all their loot!

Oh, and I really love the picture of you, Kyle, and Ryan watching Daniel do the egg hunt- so sweet. Kyle is seriously so adorable! I think you're right, he's such a great mix of Daniel and Ryan. Can't wait to get my hands on him!
